5-HTP

I would love to have more information on 5-HTP. I just bought some and before I try it I would like some information.

Good choice. I began looking at 5HTP a year ago. I was looking
at something for appetite suppression and was doing so well, I didn't
want to lose ground.
5HTP works with the seritonin in our brain. I became interested
when my doctor wanted to prescribe me anit depressants. No, not
for depression, but for weight loss. Anyway, after reading everything
I could get my hands on, hundreds of reports from medical journals,
FDA, etc., I began taking the supplement.
I take a very small dosage 100 mg at night. Take it at night as it can make you sleepy. My cravings for carbs have dropped, I sleep well and wake feeling refreshed. PMS symptoms lessened. I don't want to bore you, so I'll stop there. Advice? Do your research prior to putting anything in your body. Read the bad with the good and make an educated decision.

5-HTP completed cured my very serious case of anxiety (where I could not be alone alone for more than an hour). My anxiety was diagnosed as post traumatic stress syndrome. It was caused by a psychological traumatization at my work site. I take 100 MG a day--have done so for about 15 months. So far, there have been no negative side effects. It has truly had a miraculous impact on my life.

5-HTP has had a positive impact on my way of life. I took 500mgs/day in search of a supplement to brighten my mood, and it did just that, plus it helped me to be nicotine free.
