Question: Is Ambrotose As Good As They Say It Is?

Is ambrotose as good as they say it is? Mannatech claims to be the only company with this product. Is it natural?

Answer #1

I've been using Ambrotose and products containing Ambrotose (by Mannatech) for over 3 years now and I've never felt healthier or more vibrant in my life. And this is coming from someone who has played hockey, lacrosse, and has done weight training for the better part of his life. I feel Ambrotose has allowed my body to recover more efficiently from training/competing, and also helped build up my immune system to give me more stamina. Also, I've taken both Sport and Empact (both by Mannatech) and have had phenomenal results. In particular, Sport helped repair a nagging shoulder injury - to which I no longer feel any pain or discomfort. I am definitely an Ambrotose believer!

My husband and I have been using Mannatech products, (Ambrotose, Ambrostart, Plus etc.) for 3+ years & have been very pleased with the change in our immune system & energy level. My husband, age 49, commutes to his job weekly by commercial airline - an environment that is known to breed germs. (The round-tip commute amounts to 9 hours in that unhealthy environment.) It is amazing how healthy he is and how his energy outlasts the younger fellow co-workers! As for myself - the change is equally as good. I used to come home from work & collapse on the couch - getting up only to dress for bed so I could sleep some more! Sick days are a thing of the past. I specifically take AmbroStart & eat the protein MannaBars daily. I have been on other nutritional supplements in the past but Mannatech has the best! So yes, I would say that Ambrotose is as good as they say!

I would regard any product that is sold by a multilevel marketing company as suspicious. They make pretty amazing claims about the products, but I am concerned about the many potential consumers who will try this to improve their own or children's health. If you are thinking of trying it on your loved ones that have an health problem - please think twice. Ask yourself and the salesperson whether Mannatech stand by the product to assure us of its safety and effectiveness.

Perhaps you have a child with ADHD or a stressed out husband/wife who works long hours and this product sounds like just the right answer. Let me advise you that a proper diet, rest, relaxation and balance in all things sounds a lot cheaper and has less side effects and proven results. In a day and age where we are all so busy and stressed out, we tend to jump at anything we see as a potential "quick fix." Problem is nothing replaces a sensible diet. Do we really need these dietary supplements. Ask yourself - who researched and/or paid for the product testing? Are there any placebo or double-blind studies done with this product. After all, you are probably not getting all the details from your salesperson - who by the way probably doesn't have any tertiary education in the field of nutritional supplementation.

I think we are better off spending our money on a good healthy diet of fresh fruits and veggies, etc. than wasting money on trying this controversial product. We have a big push in Australia at present of salespersons in this company trying to promote the product. I have even seen it in local pharmacies. I really think that is pushing the marketing too much for something so unproved as Ambrotose. I also feel that in light of all the investigations into the truth and findings of the studies done by the controversial doctor on this product, that there is more than something fishy going on here - and it's meant to be plant derived - not fishy if you'll excuse the pun. This product apparently could even cause nasty side effects - who knows if it could even be dangerous to some?

"I think we are better off spending our money on a good healthy diet of fresh fruits and veggies, etc. than wasting money on trying this controversial product."

I agree with your logic, but there is something missing from that diet of fruits and veggies that shouldn't be. Those fruits and veggies are picked long before the stage of ripening. They are left to ripen off of the vine, stalk, etc. and this cuts out a lot of nutrients from your diet.

More specifically, there are very important monosaccharides missing from those fruits and vegetables. These monosaccharides are what is contained in Ambrotose. Can you imagine the huge impact on your immune system from getting nutrients that are equivalent to eating vine-ripened fruits and veggies everyday.

Echinacea boosts the immune system about 4%, multi-vitamins 2% and the immune boost from Ambrotose on the average healthy human is a whopping 54%! I am not trying to convince you of anything. I am simply reiterating scientific studies.

Carrington Labs, "an ISO 9001-certified, world-class research, development and manufacturing operation (Globe and Mail Feb. 10/2000)", discovered and patented the essential ingredients of Mannatech's flagship products. Their discovery that specific carbohydrates that are no longer present in modern vegetables and grains, because of premature harvesting and processing methods, act not only as sources of energy, but subtle and critical immune system modulators is perhaps the most important health discovery of this century. Mannatech's claims are not only backed up by countless satisfied customers, but are being researched world-wide by some of the most progressive medical professionals, institutes and Universities right now. If you want to know the truth, do a search on glycoscience and glycobiology on Medline. Carrington labs started the current wave of interest in glycoscience and even coined the term which is now universal.

Unfortunately, many uninformed skeptics and ill-informed critics find it hard to believe that there is such a thing as an MLM company that has integrity. Dig deep into the Mannatech story and you will be amazed. The reason Carrington Labs decided to use Network Marketing as it means of distribution are obvious to anyone who understands MLM. Most importantly, multi-level marketing allows distributors time to fully educate potential consumers so that they can make well-informed decisions on why and what to buy. Furthermore, network marketing, many experts believe as I do (though I do not have the statistics available at the moment), is the fastest growing means of distribution on the globe today for obvious reasons: NO middle-men and NO advertising. Independent distributors spread the word and product goes straight from the warehouse to the doorstep - AFTER the sale is made by a well-informed decision on the consumer's part. Successful network marketing does not involve manipulation or arm-twisting - just edification. You may not realize this, but more and more companies such Sears, General Motors, General Electric, Texas Instruments, Westinghouse, Blue Cross and the US Dept of Energy are employing network marketing to make their distribution more cost-effective and efficient.

Now, this is a simple idea that even the most narrow-minded should be able to grasp. Network marketing is the cheapest and least risky way to start a proven and well-supported home-based business. If you want more time for yourself, your family and your health, MLM offers you the best chance of success. Even if you don't employ the support of your upline, seriously work at it and fail miserably, the tax benefits of owning a legitimate home business in and of itself will more than cover any initial investment.

Get a grip and get the facts before you turn away from something that might not only improve your life but even save it.

Michael
