Consumer Review: While Using Creatine It Took Longer Than Usual For Me To Get Over A Cold.

I used creatine for a short time in small doses. There were positive results and no side effects. However, I was advised to quit when I contracted a cold virus. I never suffer bad effects from a cold if I ever get one, but I did while I was using creatine. It took two weeks to shake the cold and the bad cough whereas it usually takes me three to five days. Just thought the information would be useful.

I also had difficulty getting over a cold while taking creatine. I was advised to stop taking the supplement. about two days after I had stopped taking it I began to have chest pains and periods of dizziness. my heart would begin to race and I would feel faint. two days after that an ambulance had to come take me from a class at the college I attend because I I had almost lost consciousness due to severe dizziness and chest pains. when the paramedics arrived my bp was 190/60 and they rushed me to the emergency room. I had a mild cardiac episode that the doctor attributed to a dependency on creatine; my earlier cut off of the supplement had in some way shocked my system. at least that is what the doctors explained. I also have kidney damage they attribute to creatine ingestion. I had only been taking it a month.
