Question: Is Creatine Banned By The MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA, NCAA, Or Any Other Sports League?

I'm doing a research project on creatine and would like to know which of the following sports leagues allow it or if it's banned anywhere:
MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA and NCAA?
Could you please help me?

Thanks!
Michelle

Answer #1

Creatine is not banned in the NHL, NBA, or NCAA. I don't know about the other organizations. Mark McGwire has used creatine, 70% of the Denver Broncos use creatine, and I know it's allowed in college. I hope that helped.

Answer #2

Some NFL teams are allowed to use it, however some are not. An example of a team that isn't would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Answer #3

Creatine is banned by the French rugby union.
