I have been using creatine for a month. My bench has gone up 35 lbs. and my squat has gone up 80 lbs. Oddly, I have not gained weight. I have been taking about 4 grams a day. Obviously, I'm happy about the results, though I don't like the bloating. Also, I never did the loading phase because I heard you get the same results if you don't. Was I right? I have been thinking about using Met-Rx. Is it worth the investment? What about Myoplex?

I take creatine and eat 3 meals and 2 supplemental shakes a day. I have put on 10 lbs. Before creatine I was taking Myoplex, which help to put on the pounds, but I wasn't achieving the look that I wanted. So I got off of Myoplex, waited a month then went on to creatine. In just 3 weeks I have noticed the better difference added to the weight I added earlier. I still eat a lot but work out to maintain.

I did the loading phase and continued with small portions two times daily. I have noticed lean mass added to my body. My friends and wife also note the difference in my body structure. I drink a lot of water while working out. From what I've read, this is why I haven't experienced dehydration. Since I have lifted for many years, I have not noted any strength enhancing features. But I have to agree with Response #1, the look or shape it adds to the body is a good one.

My only suggestion to your problem of increasing your strength without gaining any mass is to keep gong at it with full force. Getting stronger can only mean one thing: bigger muscle gains. If it is a certain look that you are going for, keep lifting heavy and the mass and muscles will follow the huge increase in strength. Just be patient and keep lifting. The mass is sure to come.
