Creatine

I took creatine for several weeks. I am a fairly allergic type
and have eczema on my lower legs. Straight after starting to use
the creatine, I noticed I was getting an itchy rash on my biceps
(where the stuff has made a big increase in muscle size), and also
a rash on my inner thighs. The rash itched all the time and I found
I was getting very aggressive and short-tempered. Although I liked
the increase in my muscles and general body tone, I decided to stop
using creatine because of the rashes. They have since gone away
and I am much more relaxed. So, if you suffer from allergies or
skin complaints, I would NOT recommend creatine.

I found that I get dry spots and it's sometimes itchy on my thighs, buttocks and torso. I suffer from allergies and I take creatine. Will stop taking it and see what happens.

What has your body done since you stopped taking it?

First of all, I don't think this is true. I don't see how creatine would give you skin allergies, but since I'm not a dermatologist, that's only my opinion. But the fact is allergies and their causes vary a lot from person to person. Personally, I have sinus and skin allergy, I'm allergic to dogs, cats, dust, moss, perfumes, a lot of soaps, etc. I took creatine once, for about a month, and my allergy didn't get any worse (actually, in that period I was not experiencing too much of any of my allergies).
