Creatine

I have used creatine monohydrate before and I was really disappointed with the results. I used it for a month and I gained 10 kilograms of mass. I also noticed that I was stronger than ever before. That was the good results BUT the real problem was that I noticed A LOT of water retention between my muscles and my skin (YOU know what I mean. A blubber all over my abs.) It was the worst thing that happened to me. Although the muscle mass stayed and I kind of lost the water retention, I would like to know if there is a way to prevent water retention by taking other supplements with creatine. Please reply back soon.

I experienced much of the same effects as you. I got noticeably stronger and bigger, but I also got fat! I am generally in the 162-164lb range and got up to about 170lbs within a few weeks. But man, I had a tough time getting my pants buttoned! I think it has pretty much subsided at this point.

I've been taking creatine on and off for about a year and a half. I started at the 145lb range and Im now 172lb. It's really been tough to define my abs. They seem to be all watered out.

I have used creatine monohydrate in the past and I noticed considerable increases in my overall size, strength and recovery time, however on the downside I also seemed to put on a little weight in the form of fat as well as muscle, but this could have something to do with the amount of extra food I was eating at the time. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced the same or a similar problem and could offer me any advice on how to reduce fat gain while using creatine?

Add a 30 minute bike routine to the end of your workout. It won't reduce the water, but it can reduce the fat you normally carry.

I have supplemented with Creatine for over a year. I have been
training intensely for the last 9 weeks. My abs are more defined
then ever. I do cardio 5 to 6 days a week in the morning BEFORE
eating anything. All I do is get up, drink one cup of coffee and
hit the treadmill for 20 to 25 minutes. I drink one gallon of water
a day. I weight train in the afternoon. One body part a day. Abs
are normally in the morning, but that's flexible. If you follow
a solid diet plan and are dedicated, you can use creatine and still
see your abs. I'm proof. Good luck.
