Consumer Review: I Have To Have Kidney Dialysis Treatments For The Rest Of My Life Because Of Creatine.

YOU MUST ALL PLEASE READ THIS STORY OF MINE TO SAVE YOUR LIVES!!! Creatine is so dangerous. I was on it for 5 months and got pretty good gains (10 pounds), but at this point the s--- hit the fan.

I woke up one day and went to the bathroom to pee. When I started to piss, it was really burning bad, I MEAN REALLY BAD!!! When I was done pissing, I got up and fainted. The next thing I knew I was waking up in an ambulance being rushed to the hospital. The doctor said my kidneys as well as my bladder have been damaged by the creatine and I was taking only the recommended dose.

Anyway I spent all that money on creatine for nothing because I lost everything that I gained and on top of that I have to be on dialysis the rest of my life and I'm only 29. I'm going to start a law suit against creatine for millions of dollars because my life is now ruined. I'm writing this in hope of saving peoples lives. Please pass my story on to everyone you know and to everyone who you know knows and hopefully this S---!! that ruined my life will be banned one day.

This is the first time I have ever heard of this happening. What proof would you have to offer us in order to believe?

Response #2

Can you give us proof that it ruined your life and what kind of brand name of creatine did you take?

I really can't believe this crap people are saying about creatine, the hospital and stuff??!! Come on, I've read all through everything and there are no noticeable side effects yet. If there were really so many people with kidney problems, I'm sure it would say something. Anyways, I've been an off and on supplementer. When I first took it about a year ago, I took it for a month. I dramatically gained noticeable muscle and I went from 150 to 165 in a month, working out 3 days a week. In one month I saw I was getting bigger and I felt great. I'm starting it again right now, but this time I'm gonna stick with it. I have 5 months til summer and with creatine I'll be getting the honeys. I personally feel it is fine as long as you follow directions!!

C'mon people, why not use your heads? Why is it that everybody chooses to classify creatine as "Good" or "Bad"? You know, they say seat belts save millions of lives yearly, but then again, I've heard of seat belts decapitating people. That doesn't make seat belts bad, maybe it's just because they did not know how to use their seat belt CORRECTLY.

I look and feel great as a result of my eating habits and time spent lifting weights, but I've seen people permanently injure themselves while lifting. People have been PARALYZED from lifting weights. Am I going to stop lifting? Hell no. Is Creatine free of side effects? Hell no. Can it cause permanent damage? Sounds like it. But that does not mean a damn thing. I don't worry about drowning when I take a bath. I am not going to worry about death when I take a supplement.

Very well could have been the way you were taking the creatine. From what I have read (and experience), you are supposed to cycle it. This way, your body gets a break and doesn't overload your kidneys!
