Consumer Review: Creatine Improved My Strength, But It May Have Also Given Me Gout.

I do believe in the results of creatine. It may have been mostly mental but I saw strength gains in as little as two weeks! What I didn't expect is an episode of Gout! I thought at first I over stretched my foot. I am in great condition and yes it is possible that I am a candidate for gout anyway, but it seems very odd that I was blessed with my first outbreak while on creatine with-in three weeks. In looking back I now realize that I was not taking in enough water. I never experienced cramps as stated by many others. The jury is still out if creatine was the cause or not or just enough to throw my uric acid levels off the charts. But It is true that it will effect people differently and I wish nobody has to feel how it affected me.

I've been on the serum for one and a half weeks and so far it's been good. The only side effect I've had is an occasional headache after using it, but besides that it's been fine. As for strength gains, well I'm not bursting out with muscles, but I've seen a slight gain and a little more definition in my muscles, especially the biceps because that's one of the main focuses of my workouts.

I was hoping for weight gains, I haven't gotten any, but once again I haven't even been on it for two weeks. People have said that the powder works better than the serum. I can't compare because I've only used the serum, and people have said the serum does nothing. I'm considering after I've been on the serum for a month, to switch to the powder for a month and compare the results. So I guess I'll see. I've never experienced any gout.
