Consumer Review: After Taking Creatiner, My Baseball Playing Brother Felt Like He Was Going To Tear His Hamstring.

Hi, my name is Reuben and I have a concern about my brother's use of creatine. He is a senior in high school and has been using cell-tech which gives 10 grams of creatine per 12oz. dosage. He plays baseball for his high school and recently had a practice in which while he was stealing second base, he felt tightening of his hamstrings in both legs. There was a slight pain but no pulls or tears. He is taking some precautions like spending a half hour stretching and drinking up to 2 gallons of water daily. The one thing that I can say is that he has made some exceptional gains with the use if this product. While playing baseball, should there be any fear in his mind that as he is running, that he is going to pull or tear a muscle?

Response #1

My name is Kirk and I, as well, played baseball in college. During our off season work outs most of the players were taking cell-tech, including myself. After about three weeks into our program, I started to feel my hamstrings to be real tight. Finally, about three days after this tightening, I pulled my right hamstring. It was a severe second degree pull. After talking to our head trainer, he said that I wasn't drinking enough water, even though I was drinking at least a gallon a day (which is recommended). After I rehabbed the pull, I stop taking cell-tech. Then I came back from Christmas break. I figured that I was O.K. to take cell-tech again. I was wrong. I pulled my left hamstring the second day we were back, not as bad though. After this pull, I started doing a lot of research on creatine and the effects. From personal experience, the serum is much more effective and I believe safer to use.
