Question: I Take Hydroxycut And I Just Found Out I'm Pregnant. Could This Hurt My Baby?

I've been using Hyroxycut fairly regularly now for the last few months. I just found out that I'm pregnant and have therefore been using it for the first three weeks or so. My obvious question is: What kind of side effects/problems could this cause during these early weeks? I would greatly appreciate a speedy reply. Thanks in advance.

Answer #1

In response to the woman who asked about the possible side effects of Hydroxycut on pregnancy: If you plan on keeping this baby, you should not be taking any weight loss/weight gain supplements. At this time in your pregnancy, you should be concerned more with the well being of the fetus instead of your own personal appearance. Most physicians would also make this recommendation, so enjoy the pregnancy, for it will be over soon enough at which time you can go back to using whatever supplements you deem necessary for whatever personal goals you may have in mind. In the meantime, see a doctor!

Answer #2

Since you just found out you're pregnant, it's not your fault that you've been taking Hydroxycut during the first 3 weeks of pregnancy - so don't feel guilty! Naturally, you should stop - but I would also be concerned about the effect of stopping suddenly, see a doctor asap for best advice. All the best and congratulations!!!

Answer #3

Talk to your doctor ASAP just like everyone's said because your baby can be severely affected by the hydroxycut. It passes through your blood and other ways onto him/her, so it could drop its weight and cause birth defects. Congratulations and I wish only the best for you both.
