Consumer Review: I've Been Having Stomach Cramps Since I Started Taking Hydroxycut.

I have been using Hydroxycut for about 3 or 4 days now (1 capsule 30 min. before meals). Since I have been taking this, (may be coincidence) but I have been experiencing stomach cramping. Has anyone else had this problem? When I drink a half cup of coffee it makes my stomach cramp as well. I'm thinking it is the caffeine that is causing this but am not sure. Any comments or suggestions? Also, does anyone know the risks of taking Hydroxycut while being anemic? (I know on the bottle it says not to take it, but I have been increasing my iron intake) and was wondering about the possible risks involved.

This is my second go around on Hydroxycut. I tried a bottle in June and it really was working wonders, but I then ran into female health problems so I had to stop working out and taking supplements all together. In December I tried Chitosan and it made me very, very ill. I was having severe cramping and I could not keep any food in my system (if you know what I mean). I was getting very weak and I too thought it was a coincidence so I stopped taking them. Two weeks later (yes, it took that long) I was all better and my husband convinced me to take them again. He told me I must have had a stomach virus. So like a dummy I tried it again and I was sick as a dog yet again and after only one dose.

So, the moral of the story is to not take anything that is making you ill because it is more than likely not a coincidence. It's not worth it. But, I do make it a point to drink plenty of water every time I take Hydroxycut and I never drink anything with caffeine so maybe that's why I have never had an adverse reaction. My advice to you is to limit the caffeine especially around the times you actually take the pills and try the extra water. If that doesn't work, stop for a few days and see how you feel. Maybe this is not the supplement for you. Hope this helps!

As for the stomach pains...I read that it is a big no no to drink coffee before or after Hydroxycut. I have only been on it a couple weeks and I have had stomach pains also, but I haven't been keeping up with my intake of enough water. Water is very key during the day. Good luck.

That is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard! I am 15 but have been researching Hydroxycut for over a week now. The reason for cramping is because of a lack of fluid. You should drink at least a gallon of water a day when taking hydroxycut. And as for the coffee, that is not helping one bit. It is loaded with caffeine as is hydroxycut, which will make your heart beat even faster and that's not good at all. If you do drink that much and still have cramps, then it is either because your tolerance to it is not high enough (which means take less of it) or you have been taking it too long. Products like hydroxycut are not for long term use! If you think that you have been taking it too much then take a break from it 2-3 weeks or even a month. If, for some reason, you don't believe any of this has anything to do with it, you should consult you physician before taking the product again. I hope this helps and sorry for your pain.

Daniel,

Why are you taking these supplements anyway? You're young and your body isn't near full growth. You think you know so much about this product, yet you ignore the fact that you should be 18 and up to use it. If I were you, I would think twice about using certain supplements since your body is still going through crazy changes.
