Consumer Review: Since He Started Taking Hydroxycut, My Husband Has Become Very Moody And Gotten A Severe Cramp In His Calf.
My husband started taking Hydroxycut about 1 month ago. Since then, he has been extremely moody, always looking to cause an argument and always believing he is right. He also had a very severe cramp in his calf. I'm very worried about our relationship and his condition. Could all or any of this be due to taking Hydroxycut. Please respond ASAP.
Thank you,
Very Concerned Wife

Hi, I am a student in college and I saw your question and figured I could give give you some useful information about why your husband has been acting strange. I have been into lifting for awhile and have used the same supplements your husband is currently taking. The first thing I can tell you about your husband's change is that it could definitely be related to the supplement. The reason for the change is Hydroxycut is a stimulant which increases your adrenaline and causes mood swings into states of extreme aggression and excitedness, which is why people use it when lifting. The cramping can be due to taking too large of a dose or taking it too frequently. My advice to you is try not to get into an argument with your husband after he takes it. The product starts working 30 minutes after ingested and can last for hours. If he complains about feeling anxiousness, exercise will help control this. I hope this can help your situation.

To concerned wife: I started taking Hydroxycut almost 1 month
ago, and I have experienced very bad calf cramps on multiple occasions.
Knowing a little bit about my body, I think it is due to the lack
of sugar and water intake throughout the day. But don't quote me
on that. I used to get very bad calf cramps in football. Taking
sugar pills and drinking water would add a quick and temporary remedy
to the problem. I haven't experienced any mood swings.

I have been on hydroxycut for a week. I am hoping that this is
the supplement that will help me gain the body that I have longed
for. I wanted some additional information other than the directions
on the bottle. In response to the concerned wife, I have not noticed
any change in behavior. I think maybe there is something else that
may be bothering your husband. That is just my gut feeling. Hey!
but I have been only taking it for a week. I have found that I am
able to work out longer than I have been before. I am starting to
see a change in my body. I would just suggest that you talk with
your husband and see what is really troubling him. It may just be
something not related to the drug. In life we are always looking
for something to place the blame on. I would argue that is something
else. Take care.

I have taken Hydroxycut on and off for several months now. The
calf cramps only happen for me when I am on the pills. So, it's
very likely that the drugs are causing this. As for the mood swings,
you need to see if he is taking anything other than hydroxycut such
as a growth supplement that may be causing the mood swings. It's
typical in body builders and weight lifters to become more aggressive
and temperamental. As a woman of a man who takes the above supplements,
it's just something you learn to deal with. I just gently remind
him that he seems to be losing control and ask him to take some
time out from me. It seems to settle him down and he tries to control
his temperament more. Good luck.

I have also taken Hydroxycut as well as ripped fuel and many other supplements with similar effects. According to my knowledge, Hydroxycut should not change behavior or produce leg cramps. Hydroxycut contains a lot of caffeine that makes you tremble if you take too much. It helps you work out more and work harder for a longer period of time, thus resulting in burning fat and cutting up the body fat. I also recommend that you speak to your husband because I don't think that the Hydroxycut is the problem.

I believe that the leg cramps are from drinking all the extra water while you are taking Hydroxycut. Drinking too much water will deplete your body of potassium, which will make you feel lethargic in addition to causing muscle cramps. As for mood swings, there are lots of other things that could be going on with your husband.
