Consumer Review: Hydroxycut Is Great For Losing Weight, But Don't Start Off On The Maximum Dose.

I've been taking Hydroxycut for 3 months and I went from 182 pounds, to 151 pounds. I was barley even dieting, just exercising. It also put me in a good mood when I worked out, but when I took it when I wasn't working out, I would get lightheaded and the only way to get rid of it was to move around.

I now take Hydrocycut and Creatine and it has been working great. I'm noticing the results and I started using Creatine a few days ago. I warn you though, when you take Hydroxycut, don't start off on the max dosage (4 capsules 3 times a day). If you do, you might be able to handle it, but if you're not able to handle it, you'll get freaked out from being all fidgety from all the caffeine. I recommend Hydroxycut to anyone who wants to get their body fat to around 15%.

I'm 15 years old, and to get myself cut I've started to take Hydroxycut. I got it about 3 days ago and I've cut down calories, fat, and have been exercising everyday and I am really seeing the results! I've used xenadrine, but for some reason it didn't have any effect on me....and it got me very light headed especially when I worked out. But hydroxycut is truly the answer to an impatient overweight person (just make sure you drink about 64 ounces of water a day)!

Both of you should read labels a little more. First off, the label clearly states that you should take half the regular dosage for the first couple weeks then gradually increase the dosage to four before each meal. Secondly, the label also clearly states that Hydroxycut is not intended for persons under the age of 18. Unless you were directed to use it by a doctor (which I doubt since most doctors aren't concerned with 15 year olds being "ripped"), you should rethink taking it. Not to mention, that at 15 you are WAY TOO young to be using supplements and working out to the degree of being "ripped".

Weight training will stunt your growth (height). Unless you're content to stay at your current height, wait until you are done growing before you hit the steel. Calisthenics should do you just fine.

I have been using hydroxycut for about six days now and am somewhat satisfied with the product. I have been taking two pills before each meal but it has suppressed my appetite to the point that I only eat twice a day. Being slimmed and toned is my goal (I weigh 186.5) but I will not sacrifice my health and nutrition to "look good". I do weight train and stay pretty active daily, but I am more interested in gradual results. I will continue to take my hydroxycut because I have had no ill effects from it, only dry mouth about an hour after taking it. Your appearance will come to shape in time, don't sacrifice your health for it. Conduct your doses responsibly.

My brother took supplements when he was younger and is only 5 foot 8. The thing is everyone in my family is at least 6 feet tall. Be careful with this stuff.

The sooner the myth about weightlifting stunting your growth is gone the better. Not only does it not stunt your growth, but it strengthens your bones during the growth period which prevents broken bones. I'm not an MD, but I have done lots research on the subject, and reports from numerous physicians and fitness trainers say its good for people of all ages to get "into" weight training.

Well, I've been taking hydroxycut for 10 mos. and just have to say I wouldn't take anything else. I weighed 156 lbs. and a size 16. I'm now a size 8-9 and 129lbs. with drinking water and cardio and weight lifting I've managed to lose weight and keep it off so far. The only side effects I've noticed is a little shaking. But I recommend hydroxycut to anyone who can handle the caffeine.

Response #8

I've been taking Hydroxy cut for about 2 weeks and I've lost up to 6 pounds, doing aerobics and weights at the same time. However, I do feel lethargic easily and don't feel hungry, especially in the morning. But I do think it would be a good idea to try and take at least small meals between 3-4 hours to ensure your metabolic rate doesn't drop because of the low frequency of meals. Having up to 6 small meals a day will actually enhance metabolic performance and prevent the accumulation of fat in the body when it anticipates starvation for longer periods. I was wondering whether anyone has tried taking a low carbo in conjunction with hydroxycut? Anyone got results?

Response #9

I used Hydroxycut and lowered my body fat percentage from 18% to 12%, in about 40 days. I am now 215lbs and am the fastest I have been in years. I did not experience any of the problems mentioned here.

It would be nice if teenagers didn't have to lift, however, did any of you play a sport in high school? Weight training is a necessary part of any athletic sport and supplements help gain the edge you need. The problem is that most teenagers have the feeling that "more is better" so they abuse the supplement. Telling your teenager they don't have to work out is wrong and it is what is causing teenagers to be overweight today. For the person who said their brother was only 5'8", look somewhere else in your family for the reason for that, not in the weight room.

I've been taking Hydroxycut for about 4 months now. At first I experienced very high energy levels and I was losing weight rapidly. However, I tried to wean myself off Hydroxycut and I experienced vomiting every hour on the hour when I didn't take it. I also have heart pains and I think from all this shaking I'm going to go crazy! I can't even stay on my bed at night. All the shaking vibrates me off my bed. I'm only 27 and I think I'm having daily heart attacks. Please stay away from this or use extreme caution.

I am 17 years old and have been working out since I was 15. I've taken lots of supplements and busted ass in the weight room. In the past two years I've gone from 5 '7 to 5'11 and no one in my family is taller than 5'10 and I'm the only one that works out.. So to all you youngsters out there, don't listen to these idiots. A lot of people don't have what it takes to be in good shape. You should be proud that you do. So keep on keeping. Just don't kill yourself....there is such a thing as over doing it.
