Consumer Review: Hydroxycut Has Done Absolutely Nothing For My Weight Loss After 2 Weeks Of Continued Use.
I've been taking Hydroxycut for 2 weeks now. I am a 32 year old female from Australia. I started with one capsule the first day, then 3 the second day, then 2 x 3 on the third day, and have maintained this until today. Today, so far I've had 3 in the morning and 3 before lunch, but intend to only take 2 towards the end of the day.
So far, I've not seen any changes to my body - certainly have not lost any weight on the scales....and notice little change in energy levels or suppression of appetite (which seems to only last about half an hour, and then I seem to be back to my normal appetite). I probably haven't changed my diet too much - cut out some of the chocolate I eat) and have been exercising 4-6 times per week which is normal for me - aerobics and weight training. I must say I'm disappointed.
After reading all these reviews about people losing weight within the first week, it's been a non-event for me. No side effects either. No real increase in heart rate, no jitters, no headaches, no pains anywhere...(thank goodness!)
I haven't worked out if this stuff works yet. So far, it doesn't look like it. I'm not overweight by any means, but am interested in losing some body fat so that I look leaner and have more definition in my body. I am 5'6" and weigh 60 kgs. Would like to weigh 55kg.
Initially, when I read all the reviews, I was really scared to try the stuff, but as I've not had any luck losing those 5 kgs on my own, I was tempted to try Hydroxycut. One colleague said it took him 3 weeks to start noticing some weight loss, so it gives me hope! He swears by it, but claimed it made him irritable. I've not experienced any mood swings whatsoever.
I guess I'll see what happens when I've finished the bottle. I live in hope!

This comment follows on from the previous one. I finished the bottle with no results. I went back to my health food store to buy some more, and was swayed away from doing so. I was told that if I didn't achieve results after 3 weeks, then the product would not work for me, and I'd be wasting my money.
I've since found out that the product distributed in Australia is
not the same product that is available in the US. Namely, it doesn't
contain strong stimulants. Hence, the reason why it doesn't work
for me. I was told that the Australian version is only 25% of what
the US version is...it still works for some people, just not as
effectively, nor as quickly.
So there you have it. I obviously need the stimulant (although,
I can never be sure that even then it would work for me!) to really
reap the benefits. I was really devastated to hear this. I paid
$80 for something which wasn't of the same caliber as what is available
in the US, yet costs about the same. I feel ripped off!

This is to the lady from Australia who wishes to lose the 5kg from her body. Hydroxycut does work. You mentioned that you work out 4-6 times per week, which included aerobics and weight lifting. Those two together are a great combination for anyone, except you also mentioned that you did not change your diet. All the work in the world can be done and one can achieve nothing if they do not modify their diet. However, one may modify their diet and not work out at all and achieve desired fat loss. One's diet contributes 80 percent to the success they have during any fitness challenge. By changing your diet, cutting out the sweets and soda, the hydroxycut will help accelerate the fat loss your body would naturally achieve.
I have a friend who went from 250 lbs to 170 lbs in a matter of about eight months. He altered his diet from what it used to be, with some cheating in the middle. He would drink his hydroxycut with Mountain Dew. However, he did modify his diet and Hydroxycut helped him achieve his goals. He is now off of Hydroxycut and has maintained his fitness goal. Just writing to say that one's diet is the most important factor when wishing to lose fat. After all, fat should be what you wish to lose. Scales really aren't that important, body composition is.
