Training Question: What Diets And Workout Routines Should I Use To Break Through A Plateau?

I am a 17 year old that has recently gained 30 lbs. of lean muscle mass over a four month period of time. With the help of Myoplex Plus Deluxe, Phosphagen HP, BetaGen, CytoVol, a structured diet, and an intense workout plan, I was able to achieve such dramatic results. I have been able to keep the newly gained mass on, but unable to gain any further. I have been experimenting with different diets and workout plans, but each one has done nothing for me. I'm basically at a plateau that I can't break through. I would appreciate any advice you might have for me. Please include any samples of diets and workout routines that you might have that would help me. It would greatly be appreciated.

Answer #1

Try a simple, whole body routine doing only 2 sets per body part. For example, only do 2 sets of bench for chest, excluding a warm up set, or 2 sets of squats for your legs and so on. Do approximately 6-8 reps per set. Do them relatively slow and go as heavy as possible in good form. Do this workout only twice per week. The rest of the week take it easy, no heavy aerobic or sports activity. Eat good, but don't overdo it. The fact is, while your strength can increase several times, your recuperative abilities are limited . Keep track of your strength . That will tell you if you are succeeding .

Good luck
