Training Question: What Foods Should I Eat When Trying To Get A Flat Stomach, Burn Fat, And Get Ripped?

What foods should I eat when trying to get a flat stomach, burn fat, and get ripped?

Thank you,
Doza

There isn't really any food that will help you get ripped. If you are bulking up and eating a lot of carbs it is inevitable that will get some fat. You may be eating too much fat, so cutting it down may have some effect. However, fat is needed to build muscle. THERE IS NO COMPENSATION FOR AEROBIC EXERCISE. To get ripped you must put some aerobic exercise in your routine. I suggest 15-30 minutes, four days a week (skipping is pretty good). Or go for a five km walk a few days a week.

I recommend high protien, moderate carbohydrate and a low fat diet.

Skipping...OK but most grown ups might look a little silly and will probably stop exercising. Anyhow, you must reduce your caloric intake while increasing the amount your body uses. Walking an hour a day will help. Jogging will increase your numbers (if done in the morning, look for an increase of up to 300%). Lastly, proper diet combined with aerobic and weight training should do the trick.

PS: Allow yourself one day for cheating (eating what you like). This will help with the cravings and will satisfy your body's natural cravings.

Labrada's Lean Body for Her is the best thing to ever happen to me. Anyways, here is a list of great foods:

Protein smoothie (fat free milk, fruit, 2 scoops natural flavor protein powder), tuna, skinless chicken breast, turkey, oatmeal (with water or soy milk). If you are a cereal person like me, go for high fiber, low sugar like Total, Cheerios, Grape Nuts, etc. Broccoli, Spinach (Popeye was on to something!). If you hate veggies, just chug a V8 everyday. At least 100% whole wheat bread, almonds, sunflowers seed (contain the 'good' types of fat--essential). NO BANANAS, BAGELS OR BUTTER.

Most importantly, if you are cutting calories, TAKE A MULTI VITAMIN! Your body will work so much more efficiently if it is fortified with nutrients! Good luck!
