Could you tell me if there is a way that I can make good gains on a low budget? I am a single father with a teenage son. It is not easy to eat properly when you are on a very low income. What I am asking is can I train with a (how should I say) small intake of food as I cannot eat the way that I should for weight training. Also I have a high metabolism and I can eat and eat with out putting much weight on. I am 39 years old and have been away from weights for about 6 years due to an injury but would like to start again I would be grateful for any help that you could give me.

I suggest you buy protein drinks. They are very effective for muscle building and don't cost much.

Tuna fish is cheap and contains lots of protein.
