Consumer Review: Russian Bear 5000, Vanilla Flavor, Tastes Like Crap.

I purchased the Russian Bear 5000, vanilla flavor, and it tastes like s***. I am 15 years old and weight 120 lbs. and I want to put on weight. What weight gainer and flavor do people feel tastes good? I don't want to pay 20 more dollars for one that I hate. Would chocolate flavor mixed with milk taste like Hershey's Chocolate Milk. If it does, I will try chocolate.

I have tried the chocolate and it also tastes like monkey crap!

Response #2

Try it with ice cream.

OK, your're 15 years old and want to gain weight. Why don't you try some natural things first before turning to supplements? Plus when I was 15 and asked my doctor about weight gaining etc, he told me to not do any supplements until I was 17 or 18 just because of hormone defects that might occur. So why don't you chill out and try eating some 90% lean beef with some pasta. Stop complaining about taste, and think about how your body is going to react!

Supplements are not supposed to taste good. I know they taste like s---, but trust me it's worth shoving it down. I also weighed 120 lbs before I began lifting and taking supplements. I take about 20 pills a day and about 1/2 a pound of weight gainer/protein. Now I weigh 175 and my bench press has gone from 180 to 310 in a year. Stick with it, that's all I can say.

I have tasted HeavyWeight Gainer 900 in the chocolate flavor. I honestly think it tastes just as good as Hershey's Chocolate Milk. Actually, I couldn't believe that it tasted as good as it did. It contains about 36 or 40 grams of protein per serving as well as 920 calories per serving. It is definitely a great thing to try.
