Consumer Review: Many Of You Clearly Don't Know The First Thing About Xenadrine, So Here Are The Basics.

I have been shocked and amazed by some of the remarks I've read here. I recommend to all of you to do research of this product on the internet before taking it. Many of you are quite misinformed. First of all, NEVER take this product without food in your system, and make sure you are eating enough! It is not physiologically possible to lose more than 2 to 2 1/2 lbs of fat per week. Any more than that is water and muscle. It is normal to lose excess water in the first week or two, but after that, if you still are losing more than that, you are not eating enough and will do yourself a lot of harm in the long run. Your body will go into "starvation mode" and will do all it can to slow your metabolism and hold on to the fat. Also, eating fat free will do the same thing. You cannot cut fat out of your diet! We all need it for essential body functions, and again, your body will go into "starvation mode" and hold on to the fat you have.

There is no magic bullet out there. It took you a long time to put on the weight, it will take a long time to take it off. Any more than 10 pounds a month is dangerous! No one, under any circumstances, should eat less than 1200 calories a day, and even this is pushing it. Working out like a maniac is bad for your body, too. Unless you are a professional athlete, more than an hour of aerobic activity per day is to much and will be counterproductive in the long run. Weight training is very important to permanent weight loss. The more muscle you have, the more calories you will burn during the day, whether exercising or not. And it looks great!

As far as Xenadrine is concerned, it is a helpful aid and nothing more. Many of you complained of jitteriness and dizziness. If you are eating enough and still have this, according to the studies, this will dissipate after a week or two. You also need to stay away from coffee and caffeinated sodas, as they will certainly make the problem worse. Switch to decaf. I suspect most of you are having these problems because you are not eating enough. Also, do not take this product for more than a few months at a time. Your body needs a break from it, and the the product will lose it's effectiveness as your body becomes acclimated to it. Be healthy and use your heads out there!

Way to go! I totally agree with you. Many of the complaints I read about the side effects of Xenadrine could have been avoided if you read the directions and used common sense. The directions state to start with half the recommended dosage, then increase. Many people started out with the full dosage. The amazing thing is, despite the side effects they were experiencing, continued to take the same amount!

Thank you for your dose of common sense.

Good advice! But what I find even more interesting is that most people could lose 1-2 lbs per week without any sort of supplement, if they simply changed their diets and exercised more. In my opinion, supplements have little to do with the success or failure of a weight loss program. Consistency is the key! I would simply caution people to be very careful about what they put into their bodies. And if you want to use some sort of thermogenic compound, spend the time to research the pros and cons of such a compound. Good luck to everyone!

WOW!!! Good advice! You made me feel a lot better and remember that if something is too good to be true, it probably is. People have to remember that they have to take care of their bodies considering this is the only one they've got. Looking good and losing weight has a price of course. You have to eat healthy foods without cutting fat out of your diet, and you can't forget exercising. But, I'm still not going to stop taking the pill. I'm definitely going to reduce my dosage though. Thanks soooooo much!

Xenadrine is a supplement, and should be used as such. It should be used in conjunction with a good diet and a sound workout program. Like all supplements, it should be used to break a dieting plateau, not as the base of your leaning out phase. The stimulants in Xenadrine may cause some unwanted effects.

By using common sense and timing, these side effects can be avoided. Stay away from it at least six hours from bedtime, drink twice as much water, and eat within a half an hour upon taking it. Remember, it is a supplement and should only supplement your program. It also speeds up your heart rate a lot, so those with heart conditions should stay away from it. I also notice the calcium in many protein powders helps buffer the acid release from the salicin. For those of you who didn't know this, I hope it helps.

The person who wrote this article basically knows what he/she is saying, except for one thing: It has been proven that more than an hour of aerobic exercise per day is harmful unless you're a pro athlete? That's one of the biggest bullsh–– statements that I have ever heard in my lifetime.

As a high school football player and track and field athlete, and now as a college athlete who rows crew, I will guarantee you that your body can handle much more than an hour of cardio a day.

Football practice in high school was 2 and 1/2 hours of intense cardio, heart rate pumping, deep breathing. I never felt as good as I did during football season. That amount of exercise every day was just incredible. I was on a workout high all the time. I felt so strong and fast and athletic and durable.

Currently, I have a 5 day lifting cycle, and I do cardio every day. Sometimes I run 3 miles and then play basketball for a sold hour and 1/2. I'm not a pro athlete, and I'm not being harmed.

You cant go cardio crazy at first - this is a granted fact about anything. Gradually increase your cardio to the point where you want it to be. I mean, maybe 3 or 4 hours a day over time would be pushing it - but only an hour? Come on!

I want to sincerely thank whomever wrote the above article. Every last word of what he/she said was TRUE. I am a kinesiologist and I have taken many classes about fitness and wellness related topics. Everything that was said in this article coincided with what I learned in school and what I learned from my own personal research. I hope everyone gets around to reading this article. It is the best one I have read on this site so far. I am so happy that there are knowledgeable people out there willing to share information that everyone can use. This person wasn't about bashing anyone, or anything of that sort. They just wrote a well informed article to educate people about this product. Thank you whoever you are.
