Consumer Review: Xenadrine Can Give You An Added Boost In Your Efforts To Lose Weight Or Gain Muscle.

From reading the many articles listed here, I first must qualify the following statements by saying that, yes, there are some of us out there who simply have an intolerance to caffeine or other stimulants. It's an intolerance that simply will not allow thermogenic supplementation. For those people, Xenadrine will never work.

It is also true that Xenadrine, when taken incorrectly, can become habit-forming, leading to dependency and adrenal exhaustion. Xenedrine is, by definition, a false form of energy, but it can be used in a responsible manner. When so used, it can be very beneficial to people looking to increase athletic performance and strength, and it can greatly improve or help weight loss efforts.

In order to make Xenadrine work for you, you have to be smart about using it and you have to make an effort. First of all, and it should come as no surprise, you cannot eat crap and expect any benefit from any weight loss or fitness program. If you want your body to look great, and more importantly if you want your body to FEEL great, you have to give it supreme fuel. The tricky thing is figuring out what supreme is for you. There's no such thing as a panacea diet. Everyone's nutritional needs are different. However, whether you are someone who does well on the much touted high carb/low fat or whether you do better on a diet higher in protein and fat, one thing remains true. You have to eat WHOLE foods. Your best bet is to stop purchasing any food found outside the produce and dairy sections of the grocery store. I don't have the space to expound on the detrimental effects of refined foods, but pick up a book by any respected nutritionist and you will find that they often prescribe the very same thing -- a diet rich in whole foods. Robert Crayhon's Nutrition Made Simple is a great handbook for anyone looking to improve their lifestyle and diet.

The other thing to remember about diet is that it is not temporary. When people say "go on a diet" it implies that one day they will go off. Now, why is it surprising that people say diets don't work? In order for your diet to work, it has to be a commitment to changing your eating habits FOREVER! Secondly, you can't expect your weight loss or fitness program to work for you from your couch. You gotta MOVE baby. Even the most mild form of activity (like walking) will do wonders for your health. "Don't have time" is just an excuse. Make time. Innovative minds will find ways to get activity into their daily routine without upsetting their schedule. Stop taking the elevator or park farther from work or something -- just do it.

Finally, we come to the actual product, to Xenadrine itself. Xenadrine has plenty of warnings about how to take it, and I suggest you follow this to the letter. I don't think I've ever taken the daily allowance of 4 caps in a 24 hour period. DO assess your tolerance. Do NOT take the product for longer than the suggested time. Actually, what has worked for me is cycling the usage -- 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off -- and then an extended break between bottles of the stuff. Most of the time I only use Xenadrine to help me through the inevitable plateaus I reach in my fitness regimen. Remember that Xenadrine is false energy. It tricks your body and your body will fight back after a while, leaving you deprived of the very thing you crave -- ENERGY!

For those of you who are trying to lose weight, it's really the first two things -- establishing healthy eating habits and exercise -- that are going to count in the battle of the bulge. Xenadrine can help by giving you a boost, almost like positive reinforcement as you form habits that are good for you. People are much more likely to stick with something from which they actually see results and, combined with the first two ingredients, your results can be explosive. But if you rely on Xenadrine alone and allow your other efforts to slack, then expect failure. That's all there is to it.
